Mr. Brady and I hit G-A-Y on both Friday and Saturday night. We did the G-A-Y bar each night before hitting the club down the street. The bar had a nifty video jukebox which was stocked up with Stock Aitken Waterman tunes, as well as a plethora of other pop gems.

Friday night at the club, we danced for 3 hours nonstop, and DJ Andy Elvers did a full half hour set of SAW tunes.

Saturday night at G-A-Y (the club) was, of course, the big SAW Gold launch party. Every time a SAW song was played, balloons dropped from the ceiling.

At around 1:30 a.m., the performers went on. First up was Jason Donovan, who looked rather bored with being there.

He did "Any Dream Will Do" as his first song - which, incidentally, is NOT a SAW-produced song - and then followed with "Everyday (I Love You More)" and "Too Many Broken Hearts."

Next up was Sonia...

Good ol' Sonia sounded great and seemed genuinely happy to be there. She did a cover of "Hopelessly Devoted To You" (again, WTF??), and also "Listen To Your Heart" and an extended version of "You'll Never Stop Me Loving You."

But, the one who stole the show was Sinitta!

That minx did "Cross My Broken Heart," "So Macho" (not SAW) and "Toy Boy." She rocked! In one funny moment, she announced that G-A-Y promoter Jeremy Joseph didn't allow her to do a costume change backstage, so she just basically stipped off there on the stage in front of everyone and put on the, uh, outfit you see in the photo above.

Oh, and forgive the pics. They're not the best, but hey, I tried!

Wow! The Reynolds Girls are back! Or is that Mr Brady and Mr Luv? ;-)

Thanks for the pics! Looks like you had a great time.

We'd Rather Jack! And in fact we did (and I think that was how D'Luv managed to trash his thumb!), but as that particular song was not played we had to do those funky dance moves to other PWL songs!

The "SAW Gold" DVD was on constant play on the G-A-Y video screens to add to the ambience, and whilst Pete Waterman totally dissed the Reynolds Girls in his interview with London's free newspaper Metro on Monday, I found "I'd Rather Jack" to be one of the more fun inclusions.

I feel I should point out that the photograph of D'Luv and myself was taken at around 3:00am and I certainly had been flirting with numerous Vodka based drinks before (and after.. natch) that. I am so ghetto. Also, we have no idea who the scary guy behind us in the photo is, suggestions on a postcard please!

Oh, who are you kidding? That photo was taken during church service at 9 a.m. on Sunday.

I was going to post the pic of me during the first balloon drop to "Love In The First Degree," but that photo is more damning than the one above!

I'm stifling my jealousy long enough to say, oh, you two look like you were having so much fun. PS, Sinitta, you're wanted back on the set of Trilogy of Terror 3.
