It's About Time: Rihanna Goes To #1
Rihanna jumps 33 spots to #1 this week with "S.O.S." after finally becoming avaiable as a paid digital download.
It seems like it took forever for that song to become an official hit. Rihanna's "Unfaithful" also appears on the chart this week, at #51, as the "hot shot debut." Another high jumper is Nick Lachey, whose "What's Left Of Me" moves 27 spots to #6 on the Billboard Hot 100. Nick's single has been available for download throughout it's chart career, but received a recent boost in sales thanks to an MTV special and about 2 zillion magazine covers in the past couple weeks.
And finally, not only is the trashy hip hop song "Ms. New Booty" still in the Top 10, but it's now become the official nickname of my bitch cat.
The U.S. Top 10:

8. "Unwritten" - Natasha Bedingfield
9. "Dani California" - Red Hot Chili Peppers
10. "You're Beautiful" - James Blunt

I had a white Himalayan named Marietta - I constantly changed her "middle" name based on what was in the news etc. The one that stuck the longets was Marietta Besette Kennedy. :)
