Lorraine's New Single Pulled

Lorraine, the romantic Nordic trio who opened for a few Pet Shop Boys dates recently, were set to release their second single, "Transatlantic Flight," at the end up the month. However, according to their official site, it's now been pulled from release. Luckily, they're offering the radio edit as a free download here.

Lorraine's first single, "I Feel It," peaked at #29 in the UK this past April.

    Aren't they from Norway?

The single was canceled "because" they are too busy touring and can't promote the single properly. Same for the album, they are concentrating on their touring for the rest of the year.

Uh-huh, yeah right. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact that "I Feel It" tanked.

    Critic's darlings/Critical praise = Commercial failure

The reason the single was pulled was because of the alleged terrorist plots to blow up transatlantic flights out of london. Columbia records uk felt that it would be insensitive to release a song called 'transatlantic flight'. I Know this because I work for Columbia.
It is true that Columbia were disappointed with the chart performance of 'I Feel It' and the band were dropped.
