Listen To La Toya Jackson's Unbelievably Awesome Startin' Over Album

Remember when La Toya Jackson had a dance hit two years ago (as "Toy") with "Just Wanna Dance"? It was the jam no one admitted to loving!

All the promos for the single said to look out in early 2005 for her Startin' Over album, which is still unreleased. But MoogaBoo just emailed me with a link to clips of it. O. M. G. It's so bad it's good! Imagine if Britney Spears had never detoured to Skank Village five years ago and had kept making awesome Swedish pop! According to her site, the album has had "distribution problems," but as of April this gem was still due to come out in 2006.

So, take a listen and tell us if we're crazy for loving this. At the very least, you'll get a giggle out of her tacky ad-libbing on "Anger Management"!

"Just Wanna Dance" should have won a Grammy for song of the year it was so phenomenal.

"Shaking my ass with lots of class, that’s why
But they don’t know if I’m a he or a she"

    "Guys on the floor
    Rubbing my big back door"

"I turned to her and kissed her neck and did it chest to chest"

    Every lyric was a goldmine!

I like to think Paris Hilton ripped of Toy-let's "But they don't know if I'm a he or a she" line for her own I'm a sassy bitch at a club song, "Turn You On":

"Boys and girls are staring at me / I can't blame them 'cause I'm sexy!"

But nothing beats Low-Rent-a Jackson's "shaking my ass with lots of class" line...

Even Stock Aitken Waterman couldnt make poor LaToya sound good.

AS for lyrics yes they are all "gems" but the best lyric ever honor ia atill held (in my opinion anyway) by Dannii Minogue.

"You're the kinda girl that I want to meet. We ain't at McDonald's baby- so whats you're beef?"

The rap in Dannii's "Love & Kisses" truly inspired.

    And a landmine!

But seriously, Toy needs to start gettin' some Grammies, Emmies... Vibe Awards... something! Or how about a recording contract that doesn't stipulate she clean the office toilet? Come on, America -- wake up and worship Toy!

    La Toya is fabulously trashy!

Who'd've thought that come the 2000s that La Toya would be the one flying the Jackson flag the highest?
