Katharine McPhee: Too Little, Too Over It
JoJo's "Too Little, Too Late" was apparently so good, Katharine McPhee's producers bit the sound for her new single, "Over It." All in all, not half bad. The expensive video really gives it a certain flair.
Kathy's (does she mind if we call her that?) self-titled album is out this Tuesday, but the rest of it, as someone emailed, is "urban sludge"... which, if true, is yet another similarity with JoJo!
Meanwhile, are Idols allowed to look this vixen-y?

I read a quote from Nanny McPhee where she said that even she thought the album cover was a little slutty but the label picked it.

Is it me, or is there some vocoder happening on the chorus? I hate that. This song's pretty good, though, and I like the Scotty K. remix. There are worse things one could do than rip off JoJo.

The label might have picked the album cover, but they didn't pose for it.

McPhee is a grotsky bee--otch. In last week's Entertainment Weekly she slyly disses everyone from Celine Dion (who would sing circles around her talentless ass) to Justin Timberlake to fellow Idol-ian Ruben Studdard ("I never bought Ruben's records, even though I voted for him millions of times"). She also slams a particuler singing celebutante's chihuahua by saying her's is not "shaky and mean" like some people's (obviously referring to one Miss Tinkerbell Hilton).
She claims the record company picked her album cover just as she claimed on the AI final that her rendition of "My Destiny" which was schlocky and syrupy wasn't picked by her.
I'm so totally buying her album though.

Mark, are you correcting my bard grammor? Wow, you all know so much about this broad. I couldn't pick her out of a lineup after a hooker raid...

I was "shocked" that you DOUBTED what I said about the album being "urban sludge"....because you then said "IF TRUE"....
