*UPDATED*: Sugababes, Radio 1 Compilation Kick Off The Rad Fall Releases

Forget all the wrinkled, hot-flash matrons of pop -- Sugababes' new U.K. album Change is out in two weeks (October 8), and it's about time!

Says blonde 'babe Heidi Range: “One of our favourite tracks is 'Back Down,' which is a reggae song that we did with Novel, who worked with Joss Stone.” Adds Amelle Berrabah: “We hope it’s going to be a single. We all love all the album but this one really sticks out a bit.”

Additionally, the week before, the BBC celebrates 40 years of Radio 1 with Radio 1. Established 1967, featuring 40 artists earch covering a song from the years the U.K.-based station has been on-air. (I initially wrote about this compilation here.) Among the acts and songs included are The Feeling ("You're So Vain"), Natasha Bedingfield ("Ray Of Light"), Kylie Minogue ("Love Is The Drug"), Keane ("Under Pressure") and Sugababes ("Betcha By Golly Wow").

Full track listing.

In the meantime, NME posted the details of Kylie's new album today. Going along with the previously unofficial name for the set that had spread across the internet, X has now been confirmed as the official title.

Here's the tracklisting:

'2 Hearts'
'Like A Drug'
'In My Arms'
'Heart Beat Rock'
'The One'
'No More Rain'
'All I See'

Thanks for the Kylie update, I never ever go to NME.com! Disappointing to see there's no studio version of "White Diamond" on there, I can just hope it turns up as the b-side to "2 Hearts".

Is that the ACK-CHEWAL cover for the Sugababes. Looks a bit 'my first design' effort. Bloody awful. But hey! Beauty ain't skin deep!

And I can't wait to hear Natasha Bedingfield's version of Ray of Light. No. Really.

    Yay! Kylie!

Paul, I have a paper towel if you need to wipe the fizz.

Brady, I, too, was a bit sad to see no "White Diamond." And off topic, is that restaurant D. Hayes had his fracas at where you took me two years ago? I recall you saying they seat all the hip-looking people upstairs, and, naturally, when we walked in, they quickly led us to seats downstairs.

Phil, it's as actual as Wikipedia is indicating :P Let's hope Natasha B.'s version of "Ray Of Light" is better than Natasha's versions of her own songs.

Anonymous, don't we all after a few drinks on date #2?

D'ifferent d'restaurants, D'Luv! Satsuma was where we ate, which is distinctly Japanese. The Thai place is renowned in London for its surly staff. I ate there once and didn't leave a tip, perhaps they consider that "racist" too...

The Natasha Madonna cover is utter bile. Horrific.
