All That's Missing Is The Stripper Pole In The New Spice Girls Video

The boring new Spice Girls single at least has an over the top, camp video to jazz it up. Here's the official clip for "Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)":

"Alright, girls, let's walk into the room and f*ck the furniture!"

Yeezus! They shoulda just renamed the song "MILFs In Heat." Posh looks like she's getting impregnated by that chair while wearing a bag of licorice.

Only one more month till the L.A. show!

That video is absurd! Did you see Geri's stomach? Just watch, in three months she'll have an eating disorder. And don't get me started on MEl C's shiteous look!

As for the song, meh. They should have come back with a fast track that captured their true strengths.

Looks like Mel B. and Posh only sang the unison parts. Mel C. looks so frumpy. Never really liked her vocal quality. As for Geri... I've never seen her so lean before. This reunion seems more like a reality show/ competition on anorexia.

Though I think this wasn't the right comeback song, it's growing on me.

I guess we should be blessed that this is the only time that Mel B. didn't mention Eddie Murphy.

I actually think Mel C's new single This Time is much better than the Spice Girls song. Who knew?!

i agree with el marv, it's not a brilliant comebacksong but its growing on me too! The video, however, what were they thinking? I believe Geri is the stripper pole though..

Er, i think it is rather wonderful. For sure Geri and Victoria made big bad decisions regarding the amount of flesh on show.....but the other three look really good.

As for the song. Not the best either. But what did you expect?

The song is really growing on me, and the Calvin Klein perfume/cologne commercial video is helping.

I actually think it wouldn't be a Spice Girls song without Mel C's dominating vocals.... she's definitely got the best voice of the 5, and always has.

As for Mel B and Posh being relegated to the background, I believe I saw a video clip of Geri being interviewed and saying she wrote the song with Emma before the reunion was finalized. That might have something to do with it. If that's the case, they probably cut a demo of it together early on...

D:LO, I agree. I also think its made for the christmas market like 2 Become One/Goodbye (and so on). Voodoo will make a perfect single...
