Saint Etienne Compiles A Fan Club Boxette, While Sarah Cracknell Features On Mark Brown Track

Well, it's no Licorice, kids, but another reason to get your rah-rahs out is the forthcoming release of Saint Etienne's Boxette. And no, it's not a collection of all their hits, etc. They already did that expertly with Smash The System and the pared down U.S. release Travel Edition. Rather, it's a remastered set of three of the band's fan-club-only albums, plus a disc of "odd tracks" and rarities.

Only 3000 copies will be made available December 14, but you have to be a member of the Saint Etienne fan club to purchase.

The three previously-released fan club albums included are I Love To Paint, Built On Sand and Asleep At The Wheels Of Steel.

Meanwhile, here's a clip of "The Journey Continues" by Mark Brown featuring Saint Etienne vocalist Sarah Cracknell on vocals. The single will get a U.K. release in February.

Absolutely agree with both of you boys. "Lightning..." is one of my alltime fave SE songs.
