Timbaland Unveils New Madonna Single

Timabland has caused some of The Vampyre Madonna's fans to jiggle around like tasered crack ho's after premiering her new track "4 Minutes To Save The World" to a crowd at last night's Jingle Ball in Philadelphia.

Life Partners Timbaland and Justin Timberlake worked on the track with The Vampyre, and NME states the song, which showcased her "new Hip hop edge," is "reported to be the single from her 11th album."

The Vampyre is one of the 2008 inductees into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. Past inductees are a bunch of other people over the age of 70.

Any thoughts on the new Janet song? I was prepared to hate it on first listen, but 2 days later, I'm really feeling it. It's very Britney Blackout. Not sure if it'll be a big hit with the whole Janet stigma, but who knows?

Fuck me, this has me worried. A hip hop edge? And nothing is going to top Mark Owen's 4 Minute Warning. The vampyre Madonna? Hahahahaha

Joshua, thoughts on the new Janet coming in the end-of-the-year banterview either later this week or early next.

Paul, heard the clip of The Vampyre, and have to say I like it!

Robbie, why do you call her The Vampyre? You know the hardcore Maddie fans are going to hunt you down for that? LOL

By the way, I think working with Timbo and JT is a desperate attempt to get back onto the US mainstream singles charts, yes? "4 Minutes.." is no "Apologize" or "Say It Right" but with the 2 additional names attached to it, it will be a surefire hit, me thinks.

Also, I know you'll be pleased to know that Rule The World is one of only 51 (or 59) songs from the past year being considered for an Oscar nom. I think it'd be nice to see the Brit boys on Oscar stage next Feb, no?

Leon's version of When You Believe is a real stinker (and you thought the original was crappy?) Prepare to hurl when you hear Leon's constipated rendition.

Love your blog. And can't wait for your JJ-Feedback opinion. I like the Extended Mix more than the original mix.

Oh, one last thing, not to be outshone (is that a word? hmm) by Janet, Madonna, Mary J and that piss-poor version of WYB, M.C. is waiting to unleash her 1st single on New Year's Eve (single and album details will be announced shortly) with a radio premiere on Jan. 10.

Woah, that's a bouquet of info, Joseph -- thanks!

I call Madge The Vampyre because she's like an ageless warrior, ready to drink the blood of all in her wake. Feast, M, feast!
