I Wonder If Brit And Alex Do Everything Together. You Know, Like Everything...

These twin broads are called Brit And Alex, and they're former child actors turned pop stars who were born in the States but raised in London.

Brit And Alex's debut single, "Let It Go," was produced by Dallas Austin and Tricky Stewart (Rihanna's "Umbrella"), and is featured on the Step Up 2 The Streets soundtrack. It's sort of Dream "He Loves You Not"-y.

Meanwhile, is it me, or do Brit And Alex kind of look like Wham!'s old backing singers, Pepsi & Shirlie? (And by "kind of," I mean not at all, but isn't it fun to bring up Pepsi & Shirlie? "Heartache" = total jam!)

"Let It Go" was only available on iTunes if you bought the whole Step Up 2 The Streets soundtrack, but a proper digital single was added today. Yeah, and where the hell are Pepsi & Shirlie on iTunes? Nowhere, that's where!

On a sidenote, my very first job when I fell off the turnip truck in L.A. nine years ago was at Summit Entertainment, which produces the Step Up movies. They also did Penelope, which has Christina Ricci sporting a pig nose. I kinda got out when the gettin' was good.
