Robyn's Doing David Letterman

It seems like Robyn's been banging around internationally so long, you could almost forget her album is still not out stateside till April 29.

The above photo is from a series taken and posted up at MTV's site. Robyn will contain a U.S. bonus track, titled "Dream On."

In addition to a 10-city U.S. tour to promote her album, Robyn will perform on The Late Show With David Letterman on Thursday, May 1, and will also do a live appearance and signing at the Union Square Virgin Megastore in New York earlier the same day.

Also, you can now read my rockin' interview with Robyn in the April issue of Instinct Magazine (or here on the mag's website), as well as revisit a separate streaming podcast interview I did with her in February for Towleroad.

Love me some Robyn...y'all know that. But how does she get a prime spot on Letterman, and the only late-night show Kylie can get on is Craig Ferguson? Then again, I think I heard that last week was the first time that Ferguson has beaten Conan for a full week. Do we have Kylie to thank for that? Oh...and disappointing debut for Kylie this week, all the way down at #139.

I LOVE "Dream On"--which means this is only bad news because I'll probably end up buying the U.S. edition of this album too. Sigh.

Robyn on Letterman. I really can't believe it. I mean, Robyn, on a mainstream U.S. television show.

"Dream On" is one of the best songs in her collection, which I think is definitely saying something. KILLER stuff live - it's probably been my highlight of the last 3 times I've seen her play.

Can't wait for Robyn to, er, do Letterman.

that letterman performance was one of the stupidest things I've seen all week.
