The Three Divas Stay Put On The Chart, NKOTB Set The Bar Low With New Single

Mariah Carey and Madonna stake out the #1 and #3 positions, respectively, for a second week in a row on Billboard's Hot 100.

Meanwhile, Leona Lewis scrapes back up to the runner-up spot, after a minor, brief, extremely short, blind-and-you-missed-it peak at the top with "Bleeding Love."

So anyway, have you heard this new New Kids On The Block song, "Click Click Click," which is apparently a cover of a song by an artist called Nasri?

I just don't understand the thinking here...why bother coming back with such a limp dirge? I mean, sure, it's all about the cash, but couldn't they at least hire someone to come up with a semi-upbeat original song? Donnie Wahlberg's gotta at least have about $46 stocked away from his acting career over the years, which could have been used to hire some kid with a laptop and a four-track off MySpace to produce their trash. Oh well...

The U.S. Top 10:

1. "Touch My Body" - Mariah Carey *2 weeks*
2. "Bleeding Love" - Leona Lewis
3. "4 Minutes" - Madonna Feat. Justin Timberlake
4. "Lollipop" - Lil Wayne Feat. Static Major *sales gainer*
5. "Love In This Club" - Usher Feat. Young Jeezy
6. "Sexy Can I" - Ray J & Young Berg
7. "No Air" - Jordin Sparks Duet With Chris Brown *airplay*
8. "With You" - Chris Brown
9. "Love Song" - Sara Bareilles
10. "Low" - Flo Rida Feat. T-Pain

thank god for the sexy wisdom of d'luv and his amazing cap. I thought it was just me put off by the incredible cringeworthy new kids single but no! you are singing from the same hymn sheet too! Now lets go dribble over some gary barlow pics!

d'Luv and Paul, I'm usually with you both, but I actually really like it. There's something very cool about how stripped down it is, and if Diddy can just take five guys, lock 'em in a loft and call them a group, why not let the guys who actually sing well (er, except maybe Jonathan) have another shot. It's possible this is just a demo, too, although it seems too fleshed out to be just a demo.

Man, back in the big 80s I had the hots for Donnie but now he looks like death warmed over. In the swingin' 90s Jordan was the one sexin' me up but now my heart belongs to Joey. Don't worry Jon, in 10 years I might let you cop a feel but I'm giving no promises to Danny...

Leona will go back to No.1 next week. Didn't her album get released on Tuesday, so with downloads, she'll be pushed up there...The week after, mariah will be back though.

Thanks for the sooper-zoom, D'luv. I had no idea Madgie's ring reads "M-dolla"..! Totally ghetto-fab! I'm shocked she didn't resurrect the gold Erotica tooth to go along with...

I just finished listening to that young singer Nasri on MYSPACE and his music is so great. He is actually behind the NKOTB comeback. He wrote the song “ click click click ” and co-wrote “ summertime ” with Donnie. He also is working on some other songs with the group according to the NKOTB website. Here’s the link I found.

My Favorite song is “NOT THE SAME” (myspace.com/nasriworld)

Check his myspace and add him as a friend because he always replies back with a thank you. He’s really hot too!!

When I heard there was going to be a NKOTB Tour this year with BSB I almost died. I was the biggest fan of both NKOTB and BSB way back when. But till this day, they still sound and look terrific. Hope to see you at one of the NY or NJ concerts!
