Chris Brown Gets Closer To #1 With "Forever," Working On Reality Dance Show

Not much change in the upper region of Billboard's Hot 100 this week, other than Chris Brown reaching a new high of #3 with "Forever." If it doesn't hit the top, whereas "Kiss Kiss" did, the world truly is a cruel sphere of mud.

Meanwhile, this news about him teaming up with Survivor creator Mark Burnett to do a reality dance show... Chris, Chris, Chris. Just stick to the music. Not all of your agent's ideas are bright.

Not really sure about Kardinal Offishall, but the fact that this Canadian has dragged Akon back into the Top 10 after a pleasant absence already makes him annoying.

And poor Miley Cyrus—"7 Things" gets bumped out of sight by the return of Jesse McCartney.

Ah, fuck all these people anyway. I'm not seeing any of their cash.

The U.S. Top 10:

1. "I Kissed A Girl" - Katy Perry *5 weeks*
2. "Take A Bow" - Rihanna
3. "Forever" - Chris Brown *sales gainer*
4. "Lollipop" - Lil Wayne Feat. Static Major
5. "Viva La Vida'" - Coldplay
6. "Bleeding Love" - Leona Lewis
7. "Pocketful Of Sunshine" - Natasha Bedingfield
8. "A Milli" - Lil Wayne
9. "Dangerous" - Kardinal Offishall Feat. Akon
10. "Leavin'" - Jesse McCartney

Do you think Katy Perry sucked off the devil or something? That homophobic god non-botherer ain't going anywhere at the mo'. *shivers at the thought of her coming to these shores*

I second the motion to ordain "Forever" the new #1 song ... effective immediately!

Phil, I think Hooker Perry's arrival on UK airwaves is inevitable seeing as how she's #1 in Australia this week too. It's just a matter of time. Steel yourself!

Ya know, I don't have a problem trashing Katy Perry, but Max Martin seems to be getting a pass on all of this. From all I've read, Katy's more of a sponge, which leaves the creative people around her to give her something to absorb.

I heard the Kardinal Offishall record a bunch while I was in Denver, and it actually got stuck in my head. Not as heinous as some of the other stuff out there, but yeah, same ol' formula.

Here I go with the radio stuff again...Ne-Yo is most increased plays and most added at Top 40 this week. Folks, we have a bonafide hit.

No Yuri No. I cannot be doing with Katy Perry being a hit on my beloved shores. Boo that whore. And i mean that literally.

Bring on the chris brown number one. New boy band firestep (who i think i will christen firesnatch) have totally stolen the song for their debut single.
