Christina Aguilera's New Single "Keeps Gettin' Better" Sounds Like Goldfrapp

Not sure if Christina Aguilera is looking more like Amanda Lepore or a dead hooker these days, but here's her new jam "Keeps Gettin' Better," off her November greatest hits release Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade Of Hits:

Jesus. It's been a whole decade? My ass is gettin' old.

I do like the new song. I was reading someplace that Ms. Dirrrty thinks a good kiddie soundtack is Goldfrapp's Black Cherry. Love that album but I was like WTF? For a child?? I'd think it would scare them!

I like the track, but it's not bowling me over. If this does fly, though, it will just prove that Kylie's folks here in the States underestimated what would sell and what wouldn't. Christina's name at least gets her in the door at radio, but the last CD wasn't a smash, so it will either take a bona-fide smash, or something completely different, and for her, this is different.

I like the music in an 'it's okay' way, but overall, there's just something I've always found completely boring about her.

She takes it all too serious and is too into her vocal acrobats the way Mariah Carey did for 10 years, until she went nuts and starting singing about YouTube...i.e., got fun!

I guess it's not too much of a stretch that she's got a greatest hits out, though, since Hilary Duff had one out after two albums!
