If Christina Aguilera's Video Premiered And Nobody Watched It, Did It Make Any Sound?

In all the flurry surrounding the lead-up to the election, it was easy to overlook Christina Aguilera's video for "Keeps Gettin' Better" sneaking online last week.

You know, this is one of those songs that you want to like—and kudos to Xtina for announcing that her next studio album, out next year, is basically going to be Kylie-esque dance pop (produced by Linda Perry)—but, well...hmmm. Maybe if she wore a leather thong...again?

First time I heard this, I thought it sounded like a Goldfrapp reject.

The video doesn't bother me as much as it apparently bothers others. It's very Timbaland in "Ayo Technology", but it's alright. At least folks are seeing that the dance music theory is in play, and they're prepping for it. Even Akon is saying his new CD has that Euro-club feel to it.

Damn, Prop 8 passed. Not shocked at all.

D'luv, did you tie the knot with shananay before all of this?

And what? Does that mean that californians can't get married any more? Prop 8? What's given with one hand...

The name "Linda Perry" totally strikes fear into my heart.

El Marv, yes, true dat! Although, Goldfrapp should get back to that sound...

John, it's growing on me. And by that I mean if it's on next time I'm at a bar, I'll try not to take a piss while it's playing.

Anonymous, alas, Shananay and I are still living in sin. Just the way she likes it. I'd make an honest woman out of her, but then what fun would that be?

Paul, sigh, exactly. At least Obama mentioned the gays in his victory speech!

Mr. Kranky, yes, and she probably strikes gold when Xtina sings up her vadge.

I like the song pretty well but what a cheap, lifeless video. Even Catwoman-Christina fails to inspire.

It's so...irrelevant in the scheme of things.

Alas, I am biased. But still.

I like the song and the video isnt half bad,but it needs something extra.

The first thing i got to think about when you see Christina sitting by the mixer board is Gwen Stefani in her video for "What you waiting for" heh maybe its just me who sees that^^
