Anyone Have 'Patience' For Nick Lachey?

Here's the art for Nick Lachey's new single, "Patience." Yes, it's a cover of Take That's 2006 U.K. hit. Apparently the That's version just wasn't bland enough to be released in the States, so they called in the expert.

Nick, brother, this ain't no "What's Left Of Me." And why does he insist on sounding like a gay porn star getting rammed in the can?

Take a listen to Gary Barlow & Co.'s version and Lachey's version, and see whether or not you think Nick should just become a stripper.

Ugh. That's what Take That's management gets for stalling on a U.S. release. (Circus isn't a good enough album by itself to crack the US market -- they would be smart to add tracks from Beautiful World).

Similarly we have that preteen girl with a TERRIBLE watered-down cover of "About You Now" which the Sugababes should have released here themselves.

I'll actually agree with Anonymous that Take That might want to take a lesson from their own playbook and repackage THE Circus with one or two songs from the last record. It would be terrific for "Rule the World" to see a domestic release, if nothing else.

I've already forgotten what the entry was about.

First the ex-wife steals Robbie's biggest ballad, "Angels", and completely butchers it. Now ex-hubby grabs one of TT's biggest and best songs to no significant improvement. When will this star-crossed couple finally get voices of their own? Aren't they in their 30's yet?

ugh i have no patience at all for this. Next! Nick isn't even as bangable as Gary - you just know he'd start weeping half way through!

Yeah. I'll be buying this, but only because I still have fantasies of a pants-less Nick Lachey running away with me to Key West.

It's very smart work on the part of whoever pitches songs for Nick/picks songs for Nick...

...but his version is a complete case of "do not need, do not want." The song loses so much in this version; it's had most everything of what was interesting about the original sanded away.

It really sounds like a karaoke performance.

Ugh!!! Why can't we get the real thing here already. What is taking so long ? They should have released a single here already.
