Pet Shop Boys Do The Brits With Lady GaGa And The Killers' Brandon Flowers

Pic courtesy of Quail By Mail.

The Pet Shop Boys knocked out a nice medley at the Brit Awards, even though it kind of started off a tad slow. They shoulda had the marching business wonks come out on stage a bit sooner, to have something else happening on stage other than Chris Lowe's wig.

But it picked up. Lady GaGa kinda struggled at first with "What Have I Done To Deserve This?" I think Dusty Springfield's own wig just flipped six times over that one. But she got ahold of the note eventually.

It was when she and Brandon Flowers shrieked the backing vocals of "West End Girls" that D'luv's eyebrows really shot up. By the way, "All Over The World," off the Pet Shop Boys' upcoming album Yes, sounds super!

Here's the full list of songs in the medley:

1. "Suburbia"
2. "Love etc."
3. "Left To My Own Devices"
4. "Always On My Mind"
5. "Go West/Paninaro/In The Night"
6. "Opportunities (Let's Make Lots Of Money)"
7. "What Have I Done To Deserve This?" (with Lady GaGa)
8. "Domino Dancing"
9. "I'm With Stupid"
10. "Being Boring"
11. "It's A Sin" (with Brandon Flowers)
12. "All Over The World"
13. "West End Girls" (with Lady GaGa and Brandon Flowers)

The Pet Shop Boys were awarded the Outstanding Contribution To Music at this year's Brits ceremony.

interesting performance. though i love the PSB, i've never loved them live. Gaga was interesting, i expected more from her. Brandon looked hot and sounded awesome. all in all, i'd give it a 6 out of 10.

Chris Lowe is serving up some Jean Stapleton realness there.

    Idols shouldn't age. :(

decent performance - always thrilling to hear the hits live :) It seemed to really kick off when B-Flo came on stage. And yeah he needs to be careful with those trousers. he'll end up as impotent as a nevada boxing commissioner...

Great set overall...pretty brilliant the way they fit so many songs into 10 minutes. Is it time for "Yes" yet?

I was nervous as hell for them watching it live. I thought Gaga just honked her way through, no finesse. And B-Flo (great nickname) was spot on. He is a PSB student anyway.

But to the Boys. Neil's double-tracking vocals were on the money and Chris Lowe, well, as always, he could be doing tapping away doing his shopping list for all we know. That frightwig though... It made him look like a blancmange that's been sat on.

    9/10 V. G.

It didnt need Lady GaGA at all. She was the weak point. She should have been given a solo performance slot. Or just a slot.

Somewhere. I hear it was held in earls court. There are many slots in that region of london town.

But, amazing performance. My mum loved it. B:flo was brilliant. Mi madre refused to believe me that he was not "a flamer". We argued. She settled for "he's a pretty boy though".

Great medley though (by the divine Dannii collaborator/key songwriter Ian Masterson...)

Wows, that was gayer than RuPaul's drag race, enjoyable nonetheless (not that the two clauses are mutually exclusive) but I really want to know if Lady Gaga's having a bum shoulder issue? It was always hinged off like she was about to do that cliched pop-lock move involving a fist hammer to the head????

Gaga's 15-minutes of fame really should be over after that performance!
