Kelly Clarkson Impressively 'Suck's Off The U.K.

Repeating the success she had in the U.S. with "My Life Would Suck Without You," Kelly Clarkson lands at #1 on the U.K. singles chart with her upbeat lead song off forthcoming album All I Ever Wanted. And that's great, because Kelly has a nice rack and deserves to be #1.

Kelly's been in London all week doing promotion, which could be one reason why she beat fellow American Taylor Swift to the top of the chart. Swift's "Love Story" comes in at #2.

This, of course, knocks Lily Allen's "The Fear" off the top spot after four weeks and down to #5. But that's a long enough run, and Lily probably made at least enough money off all those downloads to go buy a gold-plated vibrator. So that's a plus, right?

And speaking of shoving phallic objects up back entrances, Take That are hovering around in the Top 20 this week with "Up All Night." Based on downloads alone ahead of the the single's physical release tomorrow, the second single off The Circus is at #17.

Over on the album chart, after re-entering at #19 last week following their triumphant 10-minute Brit Awards medley performance, the Pet Shop Boys' five-year-old PopArt: The Hits climbs one notch higher to #18.

This seems to bode well for the Boys' upcoming 10th studio album Yes, which will be released in three weeks. In the meantime, though at this point it seems it's been out forever, lead single "Love etc." will officially be made available March 16.

The U.K. Top 10:

1. "My Life Would Suck Without You" - Kelly Clarkson *1 week*
2. "Love Story'" - Taylor Swift
3. "Poker Face" - Lady GaGa
4. "Dead And Gone" - T.I. feat. Justin Timberlake
5. "The Fear" - Lily Allen
6. "Just Dance" - Lady GaGa feat. Colby Adonis
7. "Use Somebody" - Kings Of Leon
8. "T-Shirt" - Shontelle
9. "Watcha Think About That" - Pussycat Dolls feat. Missy Elliott
10. "Breathe Slow" - Alesha Dixon

I think this is as close to the US top 10 as the UK chart has been in a long time.

I am glad Kelly was able to do what you did years past! Although I doubt it was as impressive....

Great to see the most Shontelligent track of the year hanging in there. I'm bored as hell with Kelly and Taylor but Poker Face is a welcome addition to the top 5.

Im sorry but i find it extremely odd when songs like "T-Shirt, Watcha Think About That, and even Love Story" get a higher chart position then "The Loving Kind" by Girls Aloud. Really, i mean that song was pretty fantastic. I am still hung up on the fact that it only managed to get to #10!

PSB was at #13 at midweek, so Pop Art lost some ground. Still, a new peak. Seems a zillion years before we get Yes, but I've already got it pre-ordered.

I love yet hate that Gaga has 2 songs in the Top 10 because I love yet hate her.

SHONTELLE! haha I know you hate her, but I love that song - and the remix with The Dream is lols worthy!

What do you think of that Alesha song? It's sort of annoying, but I can't deny the pop-soul-lite love.
