Kelly Clarkson's Life Probably Wouldn't Suck Without The Fat Comments

Kelly Clarkson's All I Ever Wanted knocks U2 off the top of Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart this week after selling just over 254,000 copies to the Irish rock band's 125,000. She's also on the cover of this month's Blender magazine, as you see above there.

Meanwhile, Kelly appeared on Saturday Night Live over the weekend and performed current hit "My Life Would Suck Without You" and upcoming single "I Do Not Hook Up." Since then, her figure seems to have become quite the, er, weighty topic.

Check out some of these comments from YouTube users, posted on the vidoes above:
  1. She needs to lose a few pounds. i'm sure her BMI says she's clinically overweight.
  2. She needs a makeover....a MAJOR one. I would give her a weave...wavey....chocolate brown. She would have to lose 20 lbs and then I'd dress her in clothes that fit the music genre in which she sings.
  3. Why, because all popstars have to be super skinny...??? and all those thin bitches cant even sing for god sake...i think its sad that people have to judge her on her body rather than on her voice which is really what its about!!!!!
  4. i wonder if shell stay popular despite being 200 pounds.
  5. Sing songs, make money, eat like there's no tomorrow.
Honestly, is it just now dawning on people that Kelly's a chunky girl? Yeah, she slimmed down for that piece of shit From Justin To Kelly movie back in 2003, but every other time you see her, she's looked the same.

Actually, if we're going by the standards of the commenters above—all of which are no doubt stunning beauties in person—I think Britney Spears still looks like just as much of a tank in the "If U Seek Amy" video as she did two years ago during her disasterous MTV VMAs performance. The difference between the two is that Kelly Clarkson can sing.

Aw, fuck...now I'm hungry.

haters should shove a turkey burger in their mouths so they can choke on it and die a delicious death!

but good for kelly for seeming to ignore the weight bs. i just really hope she doesn't make me eat my words later (as filling as they would be) by posing in a jennifer love hewitt style photoshoot after losing 20 lbs. immediately following an empty declaration that she's sooo happy the size she is. LIAR!

if you can sing, you don't have to work out. that ish is reserved for skinny, untalented hos. (see pussycat dolls)

I LOVE reading youtube comments on music videos/performances - they are a luscious example of the shining gems that our treasure of an education system in the US produce each and every day.

Lesbos don't care if you're fat. A 4 or 5 in the straight world is a 9 or 10 in the lesbian world.

Kelly is a little chunky, but she's rich. I'd impregnate her.

I couldn't care less that Kelly is a tub of lard. It's her complete lack or charisma and shit music that turns me off.

Ohh wow that #2 youtube comment is so funny. I think someone has been watching a little too much Top Model, a chocolate brown wavey weave that is pretty hilarious. As for Kelly's weight i think she looks the same as she usually has over the past few years. I do not see anyone talking about Beyonce's fat ass! lol

OMG. I don't believe how mean people can be. Good on you for your voice of reason. Kelly has always been a big girl. That top didn't help the cause though admittedly. Regardless, I still love her and her album f*ing rocks!

Kelly just likes to play carnival! She sits on Amy's face and lets her guess how much she weighs!

Answer: Mwphwhwhwphhhh! (Translation: "A lot!" through a mouthful of "my december")
