When Synth Bands Attack (Each Other)

It's Depeche Mode vs. Pet Shop Boys with dueling covers of the latest German edition of Rolling Stone. That said, both DM's "Wrong" and the PSBs' "Love etc." singles are available on U.S. iTunes and the Amazon MP3 store now.

The remix EP for "Love etc." is actually registering on the iTunes Top Albums chart, where it climbed up to #78 today. Also made available to download is a separate digital EP for the regular version of "Love etc."—containing its two B-sides, "Gin and Jag" and "We're All Criminals Now"—as well as the music video.

Both Depeche Mode's Sounds Of The Universe and Pet Shop Boys' Yes are being released by Capitol in the States on April 21.

Crikey! It seems that while I was ignoring their last two albums, the members of Depeche Mode all hit 60! Or is that just a really bad photograph?
