Paula Abdul Wheeled Her Rickety Old Thighs On Stage Last Night For The Music

Last night Paula Abdul, looking like some old stripper who just hobbled out of a 19th century bordello, graced the American Idol stage and treated "fans" to a "live" rendition of her "new" song "Here For The Music."

Has there ever been a performance where this broad hasn't lip-synced? Think back to the Club MTV tour in '89, when Milli Vanilli got all that flack for miming their tunes. Surely Paula must have been as much to blame for the same thing?

Anyway, check out this stunner:

Dance, moth-eaten showbiz castoff! Dance like there's no tomorrow!!!

I have read in a few places that people thought this was good. Watched the clip on line because I cannot waste a moment watching that crap on TV - that was awful. Horrible. Shit.

the only thing bearable about it was storing a few of the backing dancers in my wankbank for later. Yes i'm that classy.

You'll notice you never really see her face close up during the performance. It's also darkly lit and has lots of smoke to cover up any "inconsistencies". It's basically a dance routine.

Of course they DIDN'T pan to Simon Cowell at the end of her performance...

Almost equally as embarrassing was Gwen Stefani during the No Doubt performance! Push-ups, wife beaters, crazy hair... it was all too much. She lacked genuineness. Don't act like we didn't Hollaback with you a few years back, girl!

"Live" my ass! Compared to Gwen, who panted so much I thought she'd faint, Paula didn't even break a sweat. So mimed! LOL

Gentlemen, I'm just here for the music!!

P.S. If you're surprised she lip-synched, you need to get out more. Oh, and the performance was taped the night before--that's why she wasn't gasping.

    Freakin'. Horrible. Shit.

I'm embarrassed for American pop music when this kind of rubbish gets millions of viewers. Stop it please. Stop it right now- the marketing, the branding, the product placement - all of it.

At least she's lucid. Sort of.

I guess the real success is she "straight up" managed to get off the pain killers/vicodin/vodka/tequila long enough to pull together the dance routine. It's mostly smoke and mirrors, but still I'd long forgotten Paula Abdul as a dancer. The song, well its nice in gay fluff kind of way, but I doubt it will trouble the charts. I think it's what her publicists will call a "club hit" or "fan release".

Paula should just give up and become a full time Kylie Minogue tribute act. After "Boombox" and now this "Body Language" reject, she's half way there. That

It's not that bad of a song. After all, it's a Kylie tune. But ol' creakylegs' performance is one for the ages. *glug glug glug*

I love that she ALWAYS incorporates classic 90s cheerleading moves into ALL HER DANCE ROUTINES

    GO PAULA!
