When Did Shayne Ward Muscle Up And Shave His Head?

2005 X Factor winner Shayne Ward has always incited a twinge of lust in pop fans—D'luv included!

And while his third album has apparently now been pushed back from its original summer release date to December, thankfully Chart Rigger reader Ms. Tina sent along the below video she made of Shayne performing a cover of U2's "One" with Phebe Edwards in County Cork, Ireland, on Friday. Something to tide you over.

But, golly, when did Shayne beef up and completely shear off his usual buzzcut? He looks like a prison inmate.

Wait—Shayne Ward. Prison. No women around for miles. Naughty touch!

I am really bummed that the album got bumped so far; why do record companies keep doing this to us?!

Love Shayne - but is the album ever coming out? Christmas they say - I'm not convinced. If it does come out it will be overwhelmed by all the promotion the label will give to Alexandra Burke and Leona Lewis. Actually prefer Shayne with a bit more hair, and not so muscled up. But whatever he's still gorgeous.

Indeed - why does the record company hate shayne? Sorely underpromoting his second album, pushing this one back?

Still homina homina on my prison fantasies now...

Now he even WALKS like a wrestler - or Dubya - with his arms out.

He's been beefed up for a while, and has supposedly been working on slimming down for the album release. The video looks like it cuts in footage of him from leaner days, but honestly he looks good either way.

In reply to John. The whole video was definitely filmed over one weekend. 19-21 June 2009.

Prefer Shayne with more hair and a slimmer version of but love his voice. Feel he has been under promoted in the past and don't see that changing. Record co or is it Simon have given more attention to Leona and expect Alex will get same treatment. Will be tough competition for his album if released at christmas but know which one I will buy.
