Mariah Carey 'Obsessed' With Her 31st Top 40 Hit

The big news with this week's Billboard Hot 100 chart is that Mariah Carey's "Obsessed" debuts at #11, giving the top-heavy squealing broad her 31st Top 40 hit in the States. Of course, that's not counting that Busta Rhymes trash she featured on, "I Know What You Want" (#3, 2003), or Judakiss' superclassy "U Make Me Wanna" (#16, 2004).

Here's Mimi's Eminem-dissing vid for "Obsessed," which debuted yesterday:

One notch higher, at #10, comes the week's top debut—Hannah Montana's (aka Miley Cyrus) "He Could Be The One." I didn't even realize Miley was still slumming with that blonde wig.

Elsewhere, Jordin Sparks' "Battlefield" finally moves up five positions to #25, Green Day are up 11 to #26 with "21 Guns" and David Guetta and Kelly Rowland squeak up to #77 with "When Love Takes Over"—which, by the way, I finally heard on the radio this week.

The U.S. Top 10:

1. "I Gotta Feeling" - The Black Eyed Peas *3 weeks*
2. "Best I Ever Had" - Drake
3. "Boom Boom Pow" - The Black Eyed Peas
4. "Knock You Down" - Keri Hilson feat. Kanye West & Ne-Yo
5. "Fire Burning" - Sean Kingston
6. "You Belong With Me" - Taylor Swift
7.
"LoveGame" - Lady Gaga

8. "I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" - Pitbull
9. "Birthday Sex" - Jeremih
10. "He Could Be The One" -
Hannah Montana *new*

I'm sorry, but this song is so yesterday. It could have easily been a leftover from her last flop, I mean album. As for the "official" video...exactly why is it being shown in widescreen when it was clearly shot in standard format? It just makes her ass and thighs look that much bigger.

Hopefully the video will push the song into the top 10 next week or pretty pink unicorns will cry in heaven.

Nice to have youo back, Robbie X

are the black eyed peas ever NOT going to be number one. Or is america just keeping them there as reward for their perez antics (though officially no to violence, etc etc)

NOTE!! I got called "oi bruno" in the street the other day and wanted to weep and lash out with impotent rage so i know how poor little Will.I.Am feels being called the f bomb :P

So sick of "When Love Takes Over"!

The Mimi video has entertained me for hours on end!! I do predict a slide downwards next week. Canadian radio is pretty much ignoring the single.

    Loved the new Jordin album!

I'm shocked "Obsessed" hasn't made more of an impact. "Touch My Body" shot to the top of iTunes and I just assumed that as long as Mariah kept releasing albums, the first single would keep going No. 1...but alas, even Mimi can't stop the B.E.P.'s domination. And yes, with the right song and right timing, they could replace themselves at the top again. Not gonna happen, but it could.

"He Could Be The One" is surprisingly good, although I prefer the Josie Cotton song by miles.

Fingers crossed for another Mimi #1--we need that insane broad straddling the charts every now and then.
