With Robin Thicke, Leighton Meester Finds A Decent 'Somebody To Love'

This must be why Gossip Girl's gone down the can this season—Leighton Meester's too busy crafting sexy pop jams with Robin Thicke!

Check out her new single, the electo ditty "Somebody To Love":

Careful, L—hooking up with Robin could put you in the thick of having a sizable career outside the realm of all things Blair Waldorf. Though, judging by this season's ratings, jumping that sinking ship just might keep you afloat.

Anyway, not bad, eh? That squealing diva you hear chirping at the beginning and end of the vid clip above is Ryan Seacrest, who premiered "Somebody To Love" this morning on his 102.7 Los Angeles radio show.

Oh COME ON!!!! The first time you write about Leighton Meester is when she releases this shitty track? You never once mentioned the awesomeness that was "Good Girls Go Bad"--which sounded better with Estelle anyway! :-) I'm a fan of your writing though...just upset you failed to ever mention one of my fav bands!

it's not as brilliant as good girls go bad but it is still pretty super indeed. But Gossip Girl down the can? Oh come on, worth it just for the 4 doable dudes on it alone!

Patrick, au contraire, my fair weather fan—if you'd have simply clicked on the Leighton Meester label at the bottom of the post, you'd have found "Leighton Meester: Bad Girl Done Good."

Paul, I tried, but just can't get into GG this season. I'm over the young dudes. It was always about Rufus for me.

Wow Dluv, we always knew you hated Leona Lewis, but to go and punch her on the face. Tsk.

I really, really, really like this song. And it's the first time I've ever thought Robin Thicke sounded sexy. Mmm.
