Adam Lambert's 'Whataya Want From Me' Video Is A Tale Of Two Divas

Poor Adam Lambert. In his new music video for "Whataya Want From Me," he struggles between his private self and his public persona. Yeah, yeah, yeah—cry all the way to the bank, hooker.

I have to admit, this Max Martin/Shellback-produced (and Pink co-written) jam is growing on me. I caught myself humming it while looking (on the wrong floor) for my car in a parking garage this afternoon.

Meanwhile, Ferras (cute as a blond, cuter as a brunette) showcased some new songs off his upcoming album last Saturday at the Hotel Cafe here in Los Angeles, and his pal Adam was there for moral support.

I mentioned this about a year or so ago, but I gotta dig out the tape of that Ferras interview I did back in spring 2008—which got shelved—and post it here. Maybe this weekend.

Anyway, here's Ferras covering "Whataya Want From Me":

Come over to the dark side, Robbie--you know you want to.

Great news about new Ferras songs--I like his contribution to Adam's album, though it's not my favorite favorite, but I'm more than ready to hear more from him as an artist again.

When I tried to watch Ms. Lambert's vid, it started off with a commercial of girls waiting in line for a ladies room with a purple kangaroo.

I thought it was the video and I was like, wow, Lambert's gonna twirl out of the women's bathroom--there's a statement!!

When I realized it was just a commercial, I officially gave up on all things Adam Lambert and went back to Superficial on repeat.

Adam looks like he has on pink kissing stick in the final shot of that video. Those pouty lips set against dimples. BJ heaven.

He's actually quite attactive when not made up to look like a Liza Minelli drag queen.

    Not a bad song either!
