Heidi Montag Offers Up The First Depressing Quote Of 2010

"Singer"/Hills "star" Heidi Montag finally tossed her full album Superficial out (read MuuMuse's review), which—and I'm still floored about this one—contains four Cathy Dennis songs.

Anyway, ever the savvy self-promoter, Montag decided to promote her slut jams by appearing on the cover of People and revealing that she's addicted to plastic surgery.

Says Heidi: "My ultimate dream is to be a pop star. I'm competing against the Britney Spearses of the world—and when she was in her prime, it was her sex appeal that sold."

Dare to dream, baby. Actually, don't—because there's still nothing as good as "Higher" on this collection of screeching. That said, here's Heidi's upcoming single, "Fanatic":

Actually, wait—that's not too bad. Dammit!

Listen to the album. You won't want to, but try. You'll hate yourself and then play "One More Drink," "I'll Do It" and "Turn Your Head" again and again.

Brad, see, that's how I felt when I listened to and fell in love with Britney's 'Blackout'...I didn't want to, and then hated myself for doing so. Thankfully, the masses have now come out and agreed that it's her best album. Possibly the same will happen for Heidi? Hmmm...

Paul, but Brad does make a convincing argument.

"One More Drink" has the most depressing pop lyric I've ever heard: "One more drink and I think that I'll be in love." Is it intentionally so? Is it a comment on the Hollywood scene? Is it an accurate description of what Heidi needs to have before climbing into bed with Spencer? I don't know if I'm prepared to spend $8 to find out. Oh wait, there's a digitil booklet.. brb!

Has Heidi ever seen Lady Gaga? I don't think looks are required anymore!
