It's Nelly Furtado's New Single "Night Is Young"

Earlier this year when this Nelly Furtado song leaked and was called "Free," I remember talking about it somewhere (Idolator, perhaps? Can't remember.) At that point it was meant for a new album of hers—one that apparently has been shelved for the moment.

Now we'll get The Best Of Nelly Furtado next month instead, and the song, which some sites were calling "What Do You Want To Do," will be the "new" single off it. And it has yet another name.

Here, folks, is Salaam Remi-produced "The Night Is Young," which premiered on UK radio yesterday.

Nice jam. And it's about time.

I like it, although it doesn't seem as immediate as some of the Loose-era jams. Mi Plan was a pretty solid record, and there were even a few remixes off of it.

I love Nelly, but this sounds a bit like a Ne-Yo castoff!

not impressed with this new single. Then again, I've never really found Nelly Furtado even remotely remarkable. The only song I liked of her was her duet with Michael Buble. She actually shined musically on that track.
