Kylie Minogue's Super-Cute Performance With The PS22 Chorus

Kylie Minogue paid the PS22 elementary school in Staten Island a visit yesterday and performed with the kids in the chorus. She made a point of noting that this was technically her first live performance of Aphrodite jam "Put Your Hands Up."

And naturally she wasn't going to get away without doing "Can't Get You Out Of My Head." Absolutely loving this arrangement. Watch through the end, where Kylie teaches the kids how to give a proper sassy snap.

Thank you SO MUCH for posting these! I had no idea about them. It's funny how Kylie said she wanted to do more promo in the US this time, and has ended up at a Christmas Tree lighting, on a Thanksgiving Day float, and singing with a kids choir in Staten Island. Way to bring your music to the peeps! How about a tour then?

Seriously though, this is the kind of thing that can really endear a person to a lot of potential fans, so more power to her. I got choked up! These videos are exactly why Kylie is the supreme popstar. You won't catch Madonna going into a situation like this without coming home with a couple kids!

She should record this version of Put Your Hands Up as a special B-side. And BTW--her voice is pitch perfect AND she can sing live (sorry, Mimi).

I like the amount of US promotion going on for this babe. I am not a huge fan (although I'm ridiculously attracted to her!) but I think she fits the term "pop princess" much better than any of our US female pop stars do.
