Rihanna On 'David Letterman': Thank God Drake Wasn't Available

Rihanna appeared on the Late Show With David Letterman last night and further proved that she didn't really need depressing mumbler Drake to muck up her current chart-topping single "What's My Name." I guess what I'm trying to say is that the live version she's been doing this week during her promo appearances to give just-released album Loud a boost doesn't suck.

Don't get me wrong—"What's My Name" is still a subpar Ri Ri number when compared to some of her other jams. Who knows? Maybe it'll be a grower like "Rude Boy"?

Loud is the top download on iTunes in a digital chart now flooded with albums by The Beatles.

I'm actually really enjoying the album, which is a first for me & my frenemy Rihanna.

The obvious pandering to the critics (California King) and to the radio (Cheers) suck me in, because I am such a shallow pop whore!

I'm still bitter that Only Girl was a hit and Commander wasn't, because they are the same song, except Commander is way fiercer.

    I hate her.
