Avril Lavigne's 'Goodbye Lullaby'—Sure, Why Not?

The only two Avril Lavigne singles I ever had any like for were "Keep Holding On" (total jam) and "Girlfriend" (again, a jam)—i.e. the Dr. Luke ones.

So now that 'vril isn't working with Dr. Luke anymore—but is instead getting help on upcoming fourth album Goodbye Lullaby from her ex-husband Deryck Whibley—toss her in the pop dumpster, right? Wrong! She's also got trash on the album that was swizzed up by Max Martin.

Time will tell whether Lavigne has another "Keep Holding On" stocked away up her skirt. The album is out March 8, 2011. But till then we'll get a taste of the album's first single "What The Hell" when she performs it on Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve.

And at this point I've spent far too much time typing about Avril Lavigne....

I heard from someone in the biz that her ex is "possibly" gay. I guess that wouldn't help their marriage, but it's nice that they still found a way to work together. Is this rumor for real?

Too bad you don't like more of Avril's music. I like her a lot and would say she was my favorite artist of the 00s. I'm really looking forward to her next album.

I can't wait, I really miss Avril. @wpmsd I agree with you, she is also one of my favorites of the 00's too.
