La Roux? Really? A kindergarten class with a Bontempi organ could make something more appealing.

Just saw Babs' performance of "Evergreen." I can finally turn this ego-stroking orgy of the music industry off!

Uh-oh, album of the year was Arcade Fire, not Lady A. (Yay for them, btw!)

Album of the Year was Arcade Fire's "The Suburbs."
Anyway, that BS by Gaga about writing Born This Way for Whitney Houston was definitely an attempt to stave off the Madonna-Express Yourself comparisons. There was no way Houston or Clive Davis would have green-lit those lyrics, and she wouldn't have touched a tune like that either. And Gaga never even hinted that she had written a song with another superstar female artist in mind, so I'm calling BS on Gaga.

So sorry, guys - my bad. Album Of The Year was indeed Arcade Fire. I was so bug-eyed last night when I slapped that last category on there...and I even sat there kind of in shock about them winning. (Though, "We Used To Wait" is totally my jam.)

Rihanna, as ever and as always, was PAINFUL to listen to. Why do people rag on Katy Perry when Rihanna is a bigger superstar with a more horrible voice!?!?!??!?!?!
And couldn't Drake at least dress like he was part of the act, instead of trying to look like P Diddy?

This has got to be one of the best albums I've heard in quite some time. Normally when I purchase an entire album I find I really like some songs, feel ambivilant about a few, and don't care for one or two. This is one of those albums where I like pretty much every song.
