A1 Release First Music Video In Nine Years: "Waiting For Daylight"

Aw, remember when A1 were releasing smash UK hit singles like "Be The First To Believe" and "Caught In The Middle"? Well, the late '90s and early '00s are over, and now the grown-up boy band (minus Paul Marazzi, who you might recall had formed his own band Snagsby) have an album out in Norway (home country of member Christian Ingebrigtsen) called Waiting For Daylight.

There have already been a few singles tossed out from the trio's latest LP, but the title track is apparently the first to have a music video produced for it. Sounds like the guys have gone all Elbow/Coldplay/Doves.

I downloaded this album months ago—it's great, and I wasn't ever a huge A1 fan. A welcome return.

It's a shame none of the earlier (and in my mind, better) singles from this album got a video, but maybe I'll come around to this song now that there's a reason to invest time in it.

"Caught In The Middle": still a great song. As is "Same Old Brand New You."
