Lady Gaga Offers Up Honky Tonk "Country Road Version" Of "Born This Way"

Today Lady Gaga served up the "Country Road Version" of her smash "Born This Way." Maybe she's trying to appeal to the demo that still pays for music (though she really needn't bother — the single has been #1 for six weeks running).

Really, this sounds more blues than country to me, but whatev. In addition to a new version, there are also some new lyrics. "If I wanna make it country, baby, that's okay, 'cause I was born, I was born, I was born this way," Gaga sings. Next she adds, "From London, Paris, Japan, back to USA, yeah I was born on the road, I was born to be brave."

I think I like this.

it's ok. Perhaps it's to help people get the track to number one in the UK. Surely everyone expected better than number 3? (though she *may* have hit number one had she not released it on a Friday when 60,000 downloads propelled her to number 3 - add this to her next week's tally and she surely would've topped the charts?)

It's bad enough she blatantly stole from TLC, Madonna, Kelly Rowland and The Singing Nuns, now she has to steal from Shania Twain AND Estelle featuring Kanye West!??!?!?!??!?!?

It won't truly have success, I believe this way.
