Listen To "Invading My Mind," Jennifer Lopez's Collab With RedOne And Lady Gaga

I have to admit, now that J.Lo has been washed up for about the past seven years, I'm actually liking her a lot better. She's a surprisingly able and tolerable judge on American Idol, her vapid dance hit "On The Floor" isn't as mind-numbingly annoying as some of her past hits and "Invading My Mind," her new collaboration with Lady Gaga and RedOne, is kind of a jam.

Who knew Her Thin-Voiceness could turn out something this semi-hot? This is apparently one of two songs Gaga and RedOne worked on together for Lopez's upcoming album Love?

The thing with Jennifer Lopez is that she's got to be much smarter and shrewder than her image leads people to believe. You're right about her commentary on Idol, but she has always had a good ear for a jam, even when things weren't necessarily working her way. "Get Right" deserved to be a hit, and if it had come out now in a more dance-oriented market, it might very well have been. The fact that she knows about more music than just her hits (Ryan Adams aside) has made her a pretty decent judge.

RedOne songs post Gaga fame all seem pretty ropey and generic to me. Nicole Scherzinger, love Generation and the unused Shayne Ward songs have all been kinda less than exciting.

John, will be interesting to see if she can keep the hits rolling, or if "On The Floor" was just a fluke.

    Jump!, don't forget Enrique's "I Like It" -- atrocious.
