UK Chart Roundup: Adele And Susan Boyle Wish They Had Half The Vocal Talent Of Steps

Status quo on the UK chart this week, save for the crap Comic Relief version of "I Know Him So Well" (in at #11) by Peter Kay and Susan Boyle. Sorry, though — the only version worth listening to is still the one by soul icons Steps.

Adele's 21 is the #1 UK album for the ninth week in a row, as her ballad "Someone Like You" returns to the top of the single chart for a fifth non-consecutive run.

The UK Top 10:

1. "Someone Like You" - Adele *5 weeks*
2. "Don't Hold Your Breath" - Nicole Scherzinger
3. "Just Can't Get Enough" - The Black Eyed Peas
4. "Gold Forever" - The Wanted
5. "Price Tag" - Jessie J feat. B.o.B
6. "S&M (Come On)" - Rihanna
7. "Black And Yellow" - Wiz Khalifa
8. "I Need A Doctor" - Dr. Dre feat. Eminem & Skylar Grey
9. "Rolling In The Deep" - Adele
10. "Born This Way" - Lady Gaga

I love that Adele is finally getting her due. When "19" was released the Duffy comparisons were everywhere and despite critical acclaim she didn't move units as the label probably hoped.

Not gonna lie - it was Step's release of I Know Him So Well that finally solidified them in my Top 50 Pantheon of Pop

Jump!, and now '19' is back in the charts all over. Yee-hoozy.

    Joshua, you wicked little minx!

Paul, Daniel Boys can bow down and lick the grime off Lisa Scott-Lee's boot tip.
