UK Chart Roundup: McFly McFlops

Adele maintains her stranglehold on the UK charts, as 21 is #1 on the album round-up for a seventh week and "Someone Like You" racks up its fourth week as the top single. Elsewhere, Her Wigship Britney Spears has a #21 debut with her Femme Fatale jam "Till The World Ends," which is one position lower than it debuted here in the States.

And McFly can't seem to catch a break with their Above The Noise album—the latest single off it, "That's The Truth," has a dismal showing at #35. Gosh, remember the days when these guys would chart at #1 with whatever trash single they threw out there? Oh, well—lemons to lemonade: maybe one day the laddies will be able to look back and say, "Hey, remember when we used to get all the way to #35 with whatever trash single we threw out there?"

The UK Top 10:

1. "Someone Like You" - Adele *4 weeks*
2. "Price Tag" - Jessie J feat. B.o.B
3. "S&M (Come On)" - Rihanna
4. "Born This Way" - Lady Gaga
5. "Black And Yellow" - Wiz Khalifa *new*
6. "Yeah 3X" - Chris Brown
7. "Good Girl" - Alexis Jordan
8. "Champion" - Chipmunk feat. Chris Brown
9. "Rolling In The Deep" - Adele
10. "Grenade" - Bruno Mars

McFly should release "iF U C Kate". It's the only good song on that mess of an album, and it'd be a great Spring / Summer single. I'm sure JC Chasez could do with the royalty cheque.
