U.S. Chart Roundup: Britney Spears Lands Her Tenth Top 10 Single

Soulful vocal powerhouse Weaveney Spears is probably taking her wig off and hoisting it up on a pole in celebration today, as her latest single "Till The World Ends" has jumped from #20 to #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 and become her tenth Top 10 jam in the States.

That said, "Till The World Ends" has slid down the iTunes chart since her album Femme Fatale leaked last Friday, so The Wig had better enjoy her stay in the upper reaches of the chart while she can. Spearsney's singles that have peaked at #9 include "Oops!...I Did It Again" and "Toxic."

Have to cut it short there. I'm in Austin for SXSW, to do up the Idolator Pray For Pop party. Catch you tomorrow.

The U.S. Top 10:

1. "Born This Way" - Lady Gaga *5 weeks*
2. "Fuck You" - Cee Lo Green
3. "E.T." - Katy Perry feat. Kanye West
4. "S&M" - Rihanna
5. "On The Floor" - Jennifer Lopez feat. Pitbull
6. "Fuckin' Perfect" - Pink
7. "Grenade" - Bruno Mars
8. "Tonight (I'm Fuckin' You)" - Enrique Iglesias ft. Ludacris & DJ Frank E
9. "Till The World Ends" - Britney Spears
10. "Blow" - Ke$ha

For some reason I thought ET was flopping since it hasn't really made an impact on the internet. And by Internet, I mean my gay Facebook network.

Also, how WRONG is it that perhaps two of Brit's best songs have "only" charted at 9!!!

AND how did "Piece of Me" chart at #19 and Sometimes only hit 21 and Lucky at a grieveous 23!??!?!?!

lots of fucking still in the top ten. Is it just me or does Pink's song have exactly the same chorus as Jessie J's price tag?!
