Selena Gomez & The Scene's "Bang Bang Bang" Is Up There With "Naturally"

I feel like Selena Gomez never really surpassed the pop potential she showed with her rad single "Naturally," which I still play on a regular basis. Sure, "Round & Round," "A Year Without Rain" and "Who Says" were decent, but some kind of magnetic hook seemed to be missing from all three.

But thankfully "Bang Bang Bang" is here (on iTunes today), and the sassy dance-pop jam — her second single off upcoming album (her third in less than two years!!) When The Sun Goes Down — just might have what it takes to place alongside "Naturally" in my book.

I'm just trying to forget that Selena's probably singing about her boyfriend Justin Bieber when listening, because even though she's 18, she could pass for 34, and the Biebz still looks about 13. Ick.

It's going to take a few listens. But for now the Toby Gad-produced "Bang Bang Bang" is perfect pre-summer fodder...well, for this week at least.
