Lady Gaga Unveils Extended MTV VMAs Promo, Announces She'll Open The Awards Show

That big news Lady Gaga was to announce on MTV last night following what was supposed to be her "You And I" video premiere (before the clip leaked online two days ahead of schedule) finally came: the quirky dame will open the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, August 28.

Gaga had her Little Monster fans out in Times Square unravel a banner stating "Gaga To Open VMAs!!" while she stood with Sway up in the MTV studios where TRL used to be shot.

Let's just hope this broad flashes some T&A to counter all the blood and gore that's probably going to be spilled on stage.
