Is Nero's "Promises" the song that will finally cause dubstep to cross over to the masses? This week the fourth single from the duo hit #1 on the UK chart, so maybe?



You might recall that the duo's previous single, "Guilt," managed to crack the Top 10 back in May. But whether or not Nero truly become household names, we should all just be glad that "Promises" is now the third chart-topping single in the UK in three weeks, and Cher Lloyd's assault on the ears "Swagger Jagger" has been pushed down, much like her head probably was multiple times before she was finally offered a recording contract.
