It's Darren Hayes' "Bloodstained Heart" Video

At first Darren Hayes' video for "Bloodstained Heart," the third single lifted from upcoming album Secret Codes And Battleships (out October 17 in UK, October 21 US), is all like a woe-is-me (or them), the couple represented is either breaking up or having a rough patch, lying in bed looking all sad.

Scenes of the pair walking on the beach and then to the top of a building appear to be flashbacks to better times, until you realize they're going to jump off the roof — and then the big reveal comes at the end.

Simple concept packing a big sad-face wallop.

I always took the song to be about supporting a loved one, not a break up so the video for me just adds several more emotional layers to the song, can't wait for the album!

Shaun, was only released in Australia for the moment.

Sarah, yeah - I thought it was a breakup at first, with them running through old memories. But then the ending reveals the big :(

Here, I do not actually consider it is likely to have effect.
