UK Chart Roundup: One Direction Can Just Steer Themselves Straight To Hell

Sorry, folks, but I can't get on board with this One Direction garbage. Sure, these X Factor losers carry on the tradition of pop-dappled boy bands who have worked with those in Max Martin's circle, but what does it matter when "What Makes You Beautiful" is complete shit?

Far more interesting than that trash being #1 on the UK chart is the fact that Will Young's "Jealousy" has climbed back into the Top 10, at #9, while his album Echoes is still lodged high up at #7 in its fourth week.

At least it distracts me from thinking about all the ways one could extinguish the members of One Direction with sharpened garden tools.

The UK Top 10:

1. "What Makes You Beautiful" - One Direction *new* *1 week*
2. "Moves Like Jagger" - Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera
3. "All About Tonight" - Pixie Lott
4. "Heart Skips A Beat" - Olly Murs feat. Rizzle Kicks
5. "All Fired Up" - The Saturdays
6. "Stay Awake" - Example
7. "Feel So Close" - Calvin Harris
8. "Jar Of Hearts" - Christina Perri
9. "Jealousy" - Will Young
10. "Collide" - Leona Lewis & Avicii
