Taio Cruz & Dr. Luke Party On With "Hangover"

Taio Cruz and producer Dr. Luke proved to be a winning combination last year with mega-hit "Dynamite," so they're hoping lightning strikes twice with new jam "Hangover" (which features co-production by Cirkut). To further cement the song's radio-friendly appeal, they wrangled in the go-to rapper du jour for a feature (no, not Pitbull — the other one), Flo Rida.

The result is a fairly inoffensive, by-the-numbers pop stomp-a-thon that employs Taio's infinitely-tracked vocals, an electric guitar riff and the classy terms "I can drink until I throw up" and "I got a little shit-faced-ed." Another hook: the beer-guzzling "choir" in the final round of the chorus.

Party on when this hot trash hits iTunes tomorrow, pop fans:

okay at first I was like "Yep, this is trash just like everyone's been saying." But then I listened to it again and again and again...Taio's songs aren't always the greatest, but they get stuck in your head and have fun singalong beats. Also loving Flo Rida's "Good Feeling" right now..that Etta James sample is so catchy.

Wow...Taio Cruz has come a long way IN THE WRONG DIRECTION since his first album "Departure" (which featured great songs like "She's like a star" and "I Can Be"). He has gone from singing to auto-tuning himself out completely and then singing rubbish that sounds like all the other rubbish on the American top 40. Here is the worst part. I am sure I will probably have to suffer this trash at every party that we have in business school (I am a student) for this entire academic year because the song is by Taio Cruz.
