UK Chart Roundup: Professor Green's Eminem Knockoff & Coldplay's New Album Are #1

Someone should really cc Professor Green on the next memo regarding "Love The Way You Lie" knockoffs being so 2010. His tacky "Read All About It" ends Rihanna and Calvin Harris' three-week reign at the top with "We Found Love" and becomes the new #1 single in the UK, and he's even dragged the otherwise stellar Emeli Sande into this garbage.

The more interesting action is on the album chart, where Coldplay's Mylo Xyloto arrives at #1 on the strength of 208,000 copies sold, which gives the band the second best first week sales for an album in the UK after Lady Gaga's Born This Way (215,000).

Kelly Clarkson's Stronger debuts at #5, while Darren Hayes goes in at #29 with his fourth solo album Secret Codes And Battleships. While this marks Darren's first album to miss the Top 20 (so far, at least) in the UK, Secret Codes had a #10 debut in his home country of Australia. (His previous LP, This Delicate Thing We've Made, only scrounged its way to #19 on the ARIA chart in 2007.)

On a final note, Steps' The Ultimate Collection slips from #3 to #9 in its third week on the UK album chart.
