Westlife Return With Take That Leftover "Lighthouse"

Now that Take That have moved on from producer John Shanks to Stuart Price, Gary Barlow and Shanks have offered up the tune "Lighthouse" to redundant boy band Westlife. And, let's face it — Shelflife's career has been on a downward spiral for years now.

At any rate, I can't even picture this snoozefest making a Take That album, so it does cause one to wonder whether or not it was written years ago and just set aside for a far less mediocre act to snatch up? In fact, it sounds exactly like "Ain't No Sense In Love" off the That's 2006 album Beautiful World.

"Lighthouse" will be the first single from Shelflife's upcoming greatest hits EP album. Compare with Take That's "Ain't No Sense In Love" below.
