Taio Cruz Latches Onto Wildly Popular Adele, Covers "Someone Like You"

Taio Cruz, who was quite literally the bees' knees from overseas (ha....*slow clap*....ha) last year, with hits like "Break Your Heart" and "Dynamite," has found himself in a bit of a predicament in 2011: his single "Hangover" was released nearly two months ago, charted at #62 on the Hot 100 and showbiz went on. (But at least it went to #15 in Belgium!)

What's an artist in trouble supposed to do? Cover Adele, of course!

Here's Taio's rendition of "Someone Like You." And would you look at him getting all Cyndi Lauper "When U Were Mine" by not changing the gender...

I applaud him for not changing gender specifications! Also, that light is not flattering on his face.

"Hangover" may have some dumb lyrics but I think it's a jam. Bummer it didn't do better. Still looking forward to his new album.
