US Chart Roundup: Do You Think Katy Perry Has Another #1 In "The One That Got Away"

We're a day away from the video premiere for Katy Perry's "The One That Got Away," her sixth Teenage Dream single that climbs this week from #34 to #18 on the Hot 100. It's a pretty rapid ascent, and I'm surprised that radio is still giving that broad this much love 18 months into the album campaign (I'm counting the fact that "California Gurls" was released in May 2010).

That said, "The One That Got Away" pushes the right buttons by conveying just enough (cheap?) sentiment to get 15-year-old sluts and 30-year-old gays alike foaming out their skirts. Plus, as far as sixth singles go, it's a pretty decent offering.

Here's the tease for the music video, which is set to debut on The Ellen DeGeneres Show tomorrow (so expect it to leak hours before that — if not today):

I always wondered what happened to Diego Luna. Do you think the song will become this hooker's record-setting sixth #1 single off the album (and her seventh overall)?

The U.S. Top 10:

1. "We Found Love" - Rihanna feat. Calvin Harris *2 weeks*
2. "Sexy And I Know It" - LMFAO
3. "Someone Like You" - Adele
4. "Moves Like Jagger" - Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguilera
5. "Stereo Hearts" - Gym Class Heroes feat. Adam Levine
6. "Without You" - David Guetta feat. Usher
7. "Pumped Up Kicks" - Foster The People
8. "Good Feeling" - Flo Rida
9. "You Make Me Feel..." - Cobra Starship feat. Sabi
10. "Party Rock Anthem" - LMFAO/Lauren Bennett/GoonRock
