Hit Factory Live To Bring Steps, Jason Donovan, Bananarama To London's Hyde Park In July

Bloody hell! PopJustice posted the official press release this morning for Pete Waterman's Hit Factory Live event at Hyde Park in London on July 11.

On the roster:
Rick Astley
Jason Donovan
Dead Or Alive
Pepsi &Shirley (!!)
Princess (!!!)
Hazell Dean
Sybil (!!!!)
2 Unlimited (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
Lonnie Gordon
Brother Beyond

Jesus. That kind of makes the Stock Aitken Waterman Gold night at G-A-Y (Sonia, Sinitta, Jason Donovan) I flew to see back in November  of 2005 look like dinner theater in Leeds.

There is also mention of a "very special duet 23 years in the making." Hmmmm. Kylie Minogue and Jason's "Especially For You" was released 23 years ago, were it not?

You know, we've all joked about some type of "gathering". I think this would be as amazing a venue as any. This is a CRAZY lineup.

I hope they record this for blu-ray because there will be NO way I can get to that event this year!

I hope Dead Or Alive plays "Then there was you". That song should have been released as a single. I can imagine Dead Or Alive putting on a dynamite performance for that song. It will be interesting to see what sorta person Pete Burns will pull off after all that surgery gone wrong.
