It's Garbage's "Blood For Poppies" Video

Garbage are back after seven years next month with new album Not Your Kind Of People (out May 15), and thankfully the music is awesome and Shirley Manson is still a creepy space alien.

Below is the video for first US single "Blood For Poppies," which plays like both a noir-tinged romp through Los Angeles and a jarring homage experimental French cinema.

I love this band.

Their stuff holds up so well over time, too. I still listen to the first four full albums and sometimes am struck by how fresh most of it -- esp. V2.0 -- sounds!

There has never been a more-appropriately named band as one like Garbage. Cause that's what they are. Utter garbage.
