US Chart Roundup: Where Have I Been?

Sorry for the lack of updates here lately. I'm traveling this week and I've just been inundated with trash. Sexiness will resume tomorrow.

The U.S. Top 10:

1. "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" - Taylor Swift *3 weeks*
2. "One More Night" - Maroon 5
3. "Whistle" - Flo Rida
4. "Some Nights" - fun.
5. "Lights" - Ellie Goulding
6. "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" - Pink
7. "As Long As You Love Me" - Justin Bieber
8. "Everybody Talks" - Neon Trees
9. "Good Time" - Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen
10. "Too Close" - Alex Clare

"Never" still isn't available for on-demand streaming, so isn't wracking up any points that way (which was recently added in to the Hot 100 formula.) As a result, it may fall this week to Maroon 5.

Housing is on the come-back trail with prices rising for the fifth month in a row. Pending home sales increased at a 12.4% rate from a year ago, the highest in 2.5 years. While housing is a small contributor to the overall economy, making up roughly 3%, it is good to see it behaving well. Of course this is well-off the previous peak that occurred 2006-07 range.
